Mexican flowers that went around the world
Several flowers that are given all over the planet today are native to Mexico: the poinsettia (nochebuena), the dahlia (the national flower), cempasúchil and even the sunflower, domesticated in North America. Today the State of Mexico, with towns like Villa Guerrero, is one of the country’s great centers of cut flower production.
